Painted during Sunday 10:30 worship. The basis of the painting was done spontaneuously during worship, and then I spent a fair amount of time refining and finishing it at home.
There is a lot of symbolism in this painting. Rather than list all the details, I’ll leave it up to you to explore. I’ll give one hint though… It is partly inspired by Proverbs 31, and this painting is essentially a personification of the Bride of Christ. Of course no single painting could adequately depict her, but I believe this picture portrays many of her characteristics described throughout the Bible.
