Painted during healing prayer service, on the weekend of Christmas.
We celebrate the birth of Christ with a Christmas tree. The tree represents life. Christ came to give us life, through His death and resurrection. Within this tree, the cross of Christ is seen. His blood was shed for us, bringing red to the color of Christmas. The dark background represents sin and the world. The gold upon and beneath the tree represents royalty and eternal life. As believers, we are also trees (Psalm 1), green with new life, and adorned with the gold of royalty and covered by the blood of Christ. The star at the top of the tree represents the light of the world. He is the light of the world, and we are beacons of His light.
